About us
Coopersale Community was born from the spring 2020 lockdown.
Whilst COVID-19 turned our world upside down, people in Coopersale found ways to offer support and bring joy to neighbours. We began Coopersale Community as a way to unite these individual initiatives, increase participation and create greater positive outcomes for everyone in our village.
We look to build strong partnerships to continue these activities and grow initiatives to engage everyone in the community. We are committed to Coopersale being a safe, friendly and thriving village.
In March 2021, Coopersale Community was officially constituted.
We are a non-political volunteer group.
Who we are
Coopersale Community is led by a dedicated committee of volunteers who live, work and/or worship in the village. We meet monthly to plan and deliver fun initiatives that help make our village a friendlier, safer and more connected community.
Everyone invested in our village is welcome to join Coopersale Community! We recognise that this looks different for individuals based on interests, skills and availability. We welcome people to join the committee, but equally keen for people who wish to take part in one-off events.
2024/25 elected committee:

Vice chair, Dawn Young

Coopersale Chronicle
Check out our latest edition of the Coopersale Chronicle. This is our quarterly newsletter delivered door to door with the aim to keep everyone in our village updated with news and events. We welcome contributions of local news, history bites, business or service notices.

Our Constitution
We adopted our constitution on 6 March 2021 in an online meeting. We recognise this was not an ideal forum. We will hold our next AGM in 28 March 2025 to elect a new committee and review the constitution with a wider audience.

Meeting Minutes
Since May 2020 we've held monthly meetings. Minutes from our last meeting are available here. If you are interested, contact us for minutes from any previous meetings.
